It’s inevitable. Because of their size, and the forces that can be imparted by the tools we use, or the robot itself, screws will be stripped, shafts with set screws spalled, etc. Screw extractors don’t always work, but we’ve used these “vampire” pliers with their very sharp, hard teeth to get us out of many jams.
This tool works for button head screws, which often are not deep enough for a screw extractor too!
