The FIRST Tech Challenge engineering notebook was one of the bigger mysteries to us as a new team. While we can’t claim to have cracked the code for a “can’t lose” notebook, we’re continually improving the content and format of our notebooks – we have won judged awards based on the content which also contributes to our judged presentation, and improves our messaging from team members to judges in the pits.
We’ve also gotten to the point in our history, where prior season’s notebooks are helping us solve current season’s design challenges.
To help other new teams see inside the engineering notebook process, and to serve as our own roadmap of progress, we’re publishing prior seasons’ notebooks on our website.
